ReCharge
is a weekly gathering for artists and creatives types. It’s a
time to support and encourage each other by sharing, caring, praying
and worshipping together. Our Facilitator is Kathie Kallestad. We're kicking off the new season of ReCharge gatherings on April 10th, 2012 at 6:00 pm at Real Life Church. If you are interested in being part of our ReCharge program or if you have any questions, please email us at info@worshipfactory.net.
The vision for ReCharge is to have meetings at various locations where
artists and creative type can get together and support each other in
order to further the arts and promote excellent in arts among
Christians. Many artists feel isolated and connecting this way can help
artists find freedom of expression and the courage to continue pressing
forward. As Mark Bryan (co-author of The Artist’s Way) puts
it we all need our tribe – the group that supports us as
artists. On top of that most of the arts world doesn’t
support or encourage the things that Christians hold to making it hard
to move forward as an artist if you embrace those things. Getting
together with artists of like faith helps artists to be strong and not
be intimidated by the pressures and forces around them. If you are
interested in starting a ReCharge group in your area, please get a hold
of us and we’ll do what we can to help you get started and
support you as you move forward.
